Transference of Addictions
Today’s show we welcomed Life Coach Christie Duran (www.christieduran.com) to discuss with us about Addictions and Transference of them. I am very excited to have Christie be a part of the Spiritual Evolution team. She will be joining with me once a month where we will be discussing real-life issues that effect people from day to day.
Addictions are a big part of our cultural society and unfortunately have numbed a lot of issues that we may be residing within us and allowing those issues to fester and worsen over time. Just when you think you have dealt with an issue quickly, then we find that we might have transferred that addiction to another vice. Why? Because maybe with the first issue, we never really dealt with the problem by digging down deep and getting to the ”root” of the problem or need. This task can be difficult and even painful, so I would encourage you to surround yourself with supportive people and possibly find a Spiritual Life Coach, or Life Coach or Therapist that can assist you through those difficult moments of discovery. I promise, if you give yourself enough compassion to do this…the rewards will be amazing. It’s okay to feel the way you are feeling and it’s okay to acknowledge them…once you can pinpoint where the deficiency comes from then you can learn how to take care of your needs in a healthy, supportive way. I wish you luck on your discovery. No matter what you face, the journey is truly beautiful…I invite you to embrace this journey as an adventure to the new discovery of the real you!
