No Strings Attached

When's the last time you did or said something with no strings attached, just to spread a little sunshine?  When was the last time you didn't ask…"What's in it for me?"

I think we have all been guilty of having an agenda.  An agenda is something that creeps into all of our daily actions and conversations.  Sometimes we may say things to people to smooth things over, to get our way or even to avoid rejection.  Our agenda may even show up in our relationships with our friends, colleagues, family, partner, or even our kids.

Agenda can come in to remove guilt, the inability to say no, the quest to cover your butt, etc…  Agenda can take away from your purest intention. Unfortunately, Love is usually a victim to our own agenda and yet we want to experience the purest, richest form of Love.  We all desire it and yet our own agenda gets in the way of truly experiencing it.

How can you move beyond an agenda mind-set?  Elevate that selfish thought into a sharing thought…"How can my actions help you?"  "How can I create a win-win situation?"

We all want total health, love, prosperity, confidence, creativity and so on.  Maybe we can truly feel all that, if we can just allow our intentions to be pure without any strings.

Maybe if we all became a little more aware…it would allow our steps to be that of great significance toward insight, enlightenment, satisfaction and true happiness. Then we could truly cut the strings and be free.
